Dear CAS parents,
The film festival is fast approaching (June 1) and, like previous years, we
really need help from CAS parents to make it successful. The festival is the
biggest CAS student production of the year as well as a fundraiser for the
media program. Here is how you can help. Details about the festival are
below.
Sandy Stier has agreed to be the raffle coordinator. She will need help
getting donations from local businesses (I have a donation letter) and selling
raffle tickets. To help, contact her at _sstier at co.alameda.ca.us_
(mailto:sstier at co.alameda.ca.us)
Bill Powning has agreed to be the ticket and usher coordinator. He will
need help selling tickets in advance and collecting tickets and ushering and
providing security on the day of the event. To help, contact him at
_soozpowning at earthlink.net_ (mailto:soozpowning at earthlink.net) .
We still need a food coordinator to recruit parents to make food and drop it
off at the theater; get donations from local restaurants (I have a donation
letter); recruit students and parents to sell food at the event. Please
reply if you can coordinate or help with this.
I appreciate any help that people can give. Thank you!
