SPRING DAY T-SHIRT CONTEST
Yes, it's time for our annual Spring Day t-shirt contest. Want to
have your design on the front of every t-shirt this Spring Day? Turn
in your design to Ms. Ackerberg no later than Friday, March 19.
Designs must be black ink on white paper, and must include the words
"Willard Spring Day 2010." Top ten designs get a free Spring Day t-
shirt.
SPRING DAY WORKSHOPS NEEDED
Spring Day is May 14th, and it's not too early to start thinking about
teaching a class on Spring Day this year. If you have a special skill
or interest that you'd like to share with others, Spring Day is your
chance to shine. In the past, students have taught classes in make
up, dance, drawing, drumming and gaming. If you have an idea for a
class you'd like to teach, talk to Mr. Rose or Ms. Wrenn. Students
who sign up to teach a class on Spring Day get a free Spring Day t-
shirt and BBQ lunch. Talk to your friends and see how you can help
make this Spring Day the best ever.
COMMUNITY BUILDERS CLUB BAKE SALE
Community Builders will be having a bake sale this Friday, March 5,
2010, after school at the cafeteria. Come get your sweet tooth on.
CELL PHONES
A reminder that cell phones are to be turned off from 8:40 am – 2:45
pm, or until you leave the after school program. Cell phones are to
be put away. This means that cell phones should not be visibly worn
around your neck. Too many students have been accessing their phones
during school hours. If the trend continues, then the we will
consider stopping the end of the day return policy for first time
offenders and all phones will have to be picked – up by a parent or
held until the end of the week. Please remember to Be Responsible.
